After several months designing, prototyping and industrializing Nomad, it's time to open it up to the first real users.

What Nomad does, in one sentence

Nomad turns your Android phone into a voice terminal to operate a remote Linux machine: voice dictation through the phone's microphone handles typing, while a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con held in the other hand drives the mouse (analog stick) and keyboard shortcuts (configurable button combinations) — so you can run Claude code, Open code, codex and other CLIs without ever putting down the phone.

The full ecosystem includes a Linux daemon, a patched RustDesk fork, a license server and a bilingual website.

Why no pricing yet

The product works and has been running in production on my own machine for several weeks. But before locking in a business model (the plan is still €5/month or €50 lifetime, but nothing is enforced yet), I want to collect user feedback in real conditions:

Does the "right hand Joy-Con / left hand phone" promise hold up in extended use?
Which key profiles are missing for your favorite CLIs?
What friction shows up at install time, pairing, voice transcription?
What secondary use cases emerge (code review while walking, voice notes during a build, etc.)?

The sooner I get these signals, the sooner Nomad adjusts to use cases I had not anticipated.
